Why doesn’t my phone ring when I get a video call on messenger?

While you may need to reach out to Facebook Messenger about setting up features within their app(which may include any possible 'ring' features), we first wanted to rule out some possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening:
- From your iPhone end of things, we recommend making sure that iOS-available notification settings are set to your preference for the Facebook Messenger app. This link shows how to set notification settings to your preference within your iPhone: Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad
- Are you having any issues receiving notifications from any other apps, or even having an issue with calls ringing from the built-in Phone app on your iPhone?
- Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
- We see you have iOS 16 installed, but the latest version is iOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
