Where can I get the firmware for my AirPort Extreme base station

Apple has not updated firmware on the AriPort Extreme in well over 4 years, so chances are, you already have the most recent update installed.
If your AirPort Extreme is tall, and looks like a small "tower", the most recent update is 7.9.1
If your AirPort Extreme is flat, and looks like a small white pizza box, the most recent update is 7.8.1
Open AirPort Utility (Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility)
Click on the AirPort Extreme and a smaller window will appear
Look for the Version of firmware here
If an update is available, you will see an Update button to click to install the most recent update
If an Update button does not appear, you already have the most recent update installed
