Why is apple help continuing to tell people how to MANUALLY add a calendar event...that is NOT the question being asked. What is being asked is that we USED to have our flights automatically added to our calendar and now it does not happen. Please answer THAT question

I am having this problem too. Suddenly in April the AA flights in the app no longer were automatically added to the iPhone calendar, despite the app having calendar access and operating system being up to date. I do not know what to do to get it back - Apple support did not answer the question asked - it was helpful to have that occur automatically.

Hello anfmichael82,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see you have some questions about adding flight information to your Calendar, and we'd like to help. First, we'd like to confirm your device is updated. This can help make sure your device has the most updated settings: Update your iPhone or iPad

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

If it is, or you update and the issue remains, the following link can help explain how to add your flight back in, manually. Let us know if it shows up after: Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support

Add an event

1. In Day view, tap the Add button at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the title of the event.
3. Tap Location or Video Call, then enter a physical location or tap FaceTime to enter a video link for a remote event.
4. You can also copy a FaceTime link you created or received and paste it in the Location field. See Create a link to a FaceTime call on iPhone.
5. Enter the start and end times for the event, the travel time, invitees, attachments, and so on. (Swipe up, if necessary, to enter all the meeting information.)
6. Tap Add.

That will help you manually add it. Let us know if you still see this, and we'll go from there.

Regards.
