Password admin ti sign onto Macbook Pro -
Cannot sign onto MacBook Pro that has been idle. Only gives me hint and I know the password but not working

Does the password box show any dots when typing characters to indicate that at least the key presses are being recognized?
Make sure the Caps Lock is not on.
Also try connecting an external keyboard, a wired USB keyboard may be best.
