How can I edit a number in dial pad without deleting the entered number?

When doing this directly from the Keypad on your iPhone, you would need to tap the delete button. You can read more here:
If you’re not directly using the keypad, like when you’re creating a contact you can tap on the number and swipe to a different part. You can leave feedback about any changes you’d like to see here:
