Bluetooth mouse causes keyboard setup assistant to pop up

I have used a microsoft bluetooth mouse for a few years, but recently when I use the mouse the "keyboard setup assistant" pops up. Every time I move the mouse it pops up and takes over the screen. I have no Bluetooth keyboard connected to my MacBook. I have tried forgetting the mouse and reconnecting it but the issue continues. If anyone knows how to fix this I would really appreciate it.

Dell bluetooth mouse not connecting I have used my dell bluetooth mouse for weeks no issue but now when I had to reconnect it to my macbook air it will see it on the bluetooth and allow me to click connect but then the loading wheel just continues non stop and it won't connect/work.. any ideas? Third Party Bluetooth Mice/Keyboards Not Working On Startup I bought a Logitech mouse that's made for Mac, and I have no complaints. It works just fine if I am logged in. But when I restart my iMac I am not able to use the mouse/move the cursor on-screen unless I use an Apple-branded mouse or keyboard to click on my user and enter my password. Once I log in I am totally able to use third-party keyboards and mice just fine. Does anybody know why this is? I am thinking that perhaps it is a security setting that is not allowing any third-party Bluetooth device to connect until I log in. Thoughts? This is a huge annoyance.
