Hey everyone, I have done a screen recording and made sure the microphone was on. It was a FaceTime conversation that I had screen recorded, but since playing back there is no audio? I’m so confused. Can someone please help as I would love the audio to look back on. Does Apple not allow you to screen record a FaceTime with audio? I have just tried another screen recording and the microphone is working so I’m bit unsure of why it didn’t work for FaceTime?

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

Troubleshooting Screen Recording and Audio:
So, what exactly are you recording? Note that items purchased from an iTunes Store wouldn't be able to be recorded. This all comes down to this issue of privacy.
