Another Drive not mounting issue

Could not mount <drive name>. (com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930872.)

I have tried numerous solutions, the log out log back in "solution" works for all of 5 seconds and then they are unmounted again. I can see the drives in the Disk Utility but when clicking on mount I get the error. Drive format does not matter, I formatted a drive for Mac OS Extended and it was fine, once ejected and remounting, the error returns, issue aklso occurs on ex-Fat SD cards, and NTFS HDD, so this is an OS issue. I have used this drive on an older MBP and it's fine, I have to use a hub (tested 2) due to only having type-C ports. Drive reads fine in Windows and tried a repair, no issues. First Aid on MacOS shows no issues on the discs. This is a huge issue as there is a need to get into a lightroom catalog on this drive, but I can't, I have clients wanting images and I can't get the edited images, so this is pretty critical now and making me rethink the OS being superior. I have 3 MBP's currently, but at this rate it might be worth my while to just flog them all if it's going to affect business.

Disconnect all other external devices in case one of them is causing a problem. Connect a single drive directly to the Mac to see how it behaves. If you need to use an adapter to connect the drive, then try using another adapter. Try using another USB-C port especially on the other side of the laptop.

Also, try unchecking the "Put drive to sleep when possible" option in the Battery System Settings (click the "option" button there).
