Updating my Applications

I’ve tried my possible best to update all my applications but to know avail. I lost the number that I used in creating my previous Apple I.D so I had to create another one. But then if I try to update the application which I downloaded with my previous apple I.d it would be requesting to input its number for confirmation which I’ve lost the number and when I forget it’s number I would be required to input another email which i did as well as changing its password but still yet the updates would fail. Please what could be the cause of this..?

It sounds like you may have purchased these apps using an older Apple ID. To continue to update them, it would require access to the Apple ID they were purchased with.


So, you have a couple of options:


  1. Delete the apps and re-download with the new Apple ID


  1. Try and recover that password and account: If you forgot your Apple ID email address or phone number - Apple Support

If you forget your Apple ID or password - Apple Support


These would be the only way to resolve this.
