Turn Off Auto Play

I use my iPhone (8 Plus) to connect by BlueTooth to my car stereo.

whenever I use any of the maps for directions, each time the spoken directions end, the phone automatically pulls up either Pandora or Audible (whichever one I've used last) and starts to play.

this occurs even if I have the relevant app closed

I have deleted and reinstalled the apps without effect

How do I disable AutoPlay?

I googled this situation and the only result I was able to find is to disable my Bluetooth on my phone, but APPLE, that is not an acceptable answer just because you all forgot to build in a way to shut it off. im a diabetic. Can’t turn off auto play in apple music Hi! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and Apple Music frequently starts playing randomly on my car speaker, in my AirPods, etc. I am not an Apple Music subscriber; I have tried to find the auto play button following instructions from other posts but I only have shuffle and repeat. I have four paid songs in my library from an iMovie project. I have shut down the app, shut down my phone, tried to play an apple playlist per another community post to force auto play to appear- but as a non subscriber I can’t access those. Any advice? My husband has the same problem. Thanks!

Music/Video automatically plays when I plug in Aux to my iPhone Anytime I plug in my aux cord in my car to my iPhone 15, it automatically plays music from Spotify or YouTube. I can’t find the setting to turn this off. its not apple music, I deleted that. It’s not the car, the auto play feature is turned off. dont tell me “there isn’t an option for that” to turn it off, you need to make one immediately. I don’t want anything to start automatically playing, ever. This is unacceptable. Give me an option to turn off this idiotic feature immediately. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
