TY bluetooth

There’s already a question regarding an unknown device “TY” that appears on the list of Bluetooth connected devices in iOS.

TY Bluetooth? - Apple Community

for some absurd reason it’s not possible to reply to old questions. And the answer in that question is useless and seems written by a bot.

So in my case the TY device was due to an app called Smart Life, which controls LED lights via… wifi or Bluetooth.

it needs Bluetooth to verify you’re near the LEDs I think.

anyway. Closing the app disconnected the Bluetooth “device”.

so I guess TY was the LED.

not some hacker. Or neighbour tv.
