We'd like to work with you to determine why your son's iPhone 13 isn't receiving notifications properly. We have some questions to clarify details of the issue. Then we'll provide some steps to get started that may help resolve the problem.

• Is the only app not receiving notifications the Messages app?
• Does he have his iPhone set on silent/vibrate with the Ring/Silent switch?
• Does he have a paired Apple Watch?
• Is he able to send and receive text messages without an error?
• Does he use a Focus mode?

Go through the following steps. This may help either determine what was causing him to not get notifications or could resolve the issue. Reply back with the above details and how these steps do.

1. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
2. Tap Settings > Messages > Notifications. Make sure everything is enabled as expected.
3. Open Settings > Focus to ensure no Focus mode is enabled.
