MacBook water damage, x on battery icon, won’t turn on

My MacBook was on when it received water damage, I rushed to get it dry and it was still on and working. After a while the MacBook shut off due to low battery. Since then I would connect it to the plug and it wouldn’t charge. I decided to use another charger and it turned on showing an x on the battery icon and it won’t stay on even while connected. Helpp!!
