I currently just transferred data to my new phone from my old phone. However, I discovered that my phone number isn’t listed under “My Number” under Phone in Settings. I tried going to my Apple ID and tapped on “Name, Phone Numbers, Email” and saw that I was reachable only by my Apple ID email. I tried adding my phone number but it sends me a verification code that I can’t obviously get to verify. So now I can’t receive calls or Face-times. How do I fix this?

We understand you need help with your new iPhone recently setup. Since your phone number isn't showing under the My Number area, we'll want to make sure it is fully activated with a cellular plan. Are you able to make and receive calls while using cellular data (not Wi-Fi)? If you go to Settings > Cellular, do you see an active cellular plan with your provider?

You may need to contact your carrier for help transferring your cellular plan to your new iPhone. Reply back if you have further questions.
