Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to fcp. I was just trying to install some adjustment layers. They show up in my Titles but the just keep loading and overlay my clip. I followed the instructions of different videos and also did some research on causes of the issue. What I found so far is, that the folders need to be named xxx.localized. I renamed the folders, but the issue persists.
Anyone has the same issue and knows how to fix this?
Try deleting preferences.
To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

You got folder naming and localizing right - otherwise you would not see the Adjustment Layer in the Titles browser.
Do other titles work ok, and only the Adjustment Layer keeps loading?
What is the source of these titles?
An adjustment layer is basically just an empty title, so it is a bit surprising that it is causing trouble - especially if other titles are working fine.
Other titles have the same issue. They didn’t have that beforehand. But they still kind of „work“. Means I can edit them and so on.
I didn’t add any other titles beside the adjustment layer. They are located in the original folder.
I also keep wondering why it’s not working. I have no clue what could be the issue.
