Air pos Pro

i updated my iPhone from a a 6s to a 13 Pro & ever since my AirPod Pros haven’t worked as well as they used to. People can’t hear me when I call or all they hear is everything in the background but not me. If tried setting the microphone to left, to the right, turned off automatic….

nothing seems to help. Anything I can do?

Troubleshooting AirPods Audio:


A. Interference:

It may be interference that getting in the way here. 

Some Links in Regards to Interference:


B. Unmute the App:

If an app has its own audio input and output settings, then perform things on the app itself.


C. Remove External Devices:

Verify what your output item is.


D. Disable Bluetooth:

If there are any other microphones nearby, then they may be getting in the way via bluetooth.


E. Go Here: Control Access to your Microphone on Mac.

See if an app is permitted to use your microphone.
