panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe0010a5572c): "busy timeout[0], (60s): 'AppleAPFSMediaBSDClient'"
mac OS developers, please fix it, this bug exists for more than a year, it's really annoying!
Using latest mac OS Big Sur for now: 11.7.4 on MBA M1
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect APFS formatted external disk to your Mac with Time Machine configured on both.
- Wait for disks appears in the system
- (optional) open any folder on external disk
- Disconnect external disk
- Enter your Mac into Sleep mode in menu or by closing lid
- Wait for some time (1 minute for example)
- Wake it up, enter password
- Do smth (or not), anyway after 60s after waking it up, it would crash with pink screen and panic message after automatic reboot.
Here it is:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe0010a5572c): "busy timeout[0], (60s): 'AppleAPFSMediaBSDClient'"
Debugger message: panic
Memory ID: 0x6
OS release type: User

I created this thread because problem still not resolved.
I send a report every time my Mac crashing (sometimes for 5 times a week) — and Apple Developers doing absolutely nothing for more than a year.
