How do I disable or opt out of Apple TV sports / ballgame updates and notifications? Why do i receive these, i have literally never watched a game. I never want to see another one of these notifications lol.

The updates are on specific games, and I believe I figured it out.
Settings - TV - Device Preferences - Show sports scores is on by default. I turned off anything sports related, including use play history, and so far I haven't received any notices.

What games and sports do you get updates for?
I’m not getting any of that, but that is likely due to my region.
Unless someone else chimes in with a good idea, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
I am in the US, and get the game updates amd sports notifications on my iPhone 14 and iPad (last generation) both rummy by the latest iOS version. Seems like a Apple TV notification but I have have no apps or history of any sports interest.
