How do I remove the beta tester update. I backed up my phone before i downloaded it , I erased the beta update, reset my phone and when I go to general settings software update it still says Beta 16.4 up to date … how do I go back to the regular update ?

Restarting the iPhone is insufficient. The beta version of iOS will remain active until a superseding iOS version is released and installed, even if you removed the Profile.
If you installed the developer beta you need to erase and restore the iPhone, followed by restoring a backup of its last public (non-beta) release.
