Cannot 'Slide to Unlock'

Cannot 'Slide to Unlock' once in a while when an incoming phone call comes in. Happens maybe once a week on my iphone 4 and happened about the same with my original iphone before that. I can't seem to recreate this problem in order to troubleshoot. I have to let the call go to voice mail and then it will open. Anyone else experience this?

I just had this problem out of the clear blue sky with my iphone 4. Holding the home and power key worked like a charm. Thanks.

On another note: Should I upgrade to an iphone 5 or wait until 2015 for the 6?

It is June 2014 and still no proper solution right?

Well here you go!:

Basically hold the home button and sleep/wake button together for 10 seconds and voila!It'll shut down and on again,it works beautifully..!

I am facing same problem, but not always. when facing, it requires to restart. after that it works . but later at any time @incoming call same problem occurs. So cant predict or tell in actual when it occurs.
