White square with circle on iPad

So at seemingly random intervals I get an opaque white square with a thin circle inside of it. Each time it appears, it is at the same specific point on the lower left edge of the screen.

If I tap the circle, it will click whatever button is underneath it.

It is not the Assistive Touch "concentric circles" button, nor is it the zoom/magnifier.

Any ideas?

Hey there perryub,

It sounds like there might be an Accessibility setting enabled, which is causing this to appear.

First, check if Hover Text is enabled by using the steps here See Hover Text on iPad - Apple Support

If this doesn't resolve the issue, check out the additional settings you can use on your iPad in case one of them are enabled: Get started with accessibility features on iPad - Apple Support

Take care!
