Every time I end a call whether I end it or the person calling me ends it, when I put my phone in my pocket I accidentally call someone on my favorites list . . . every time. Please, make it so when a call is ended my phone immediately goes to the home screen so this wont happen? I am 72 yrs old with a tremor and this would be so helpful.
Thank you, I was aware of that but often forget to do it. Usually when I end the call I am thinking about the call or something related to the caller and forget about the phone. I will try harder to remember until apple comes up with an option to automatically close the phone when the call ends.

Tap the side button when you end the call. (Or the top button, on some models.) That locks the screen.
I’ve gotten into the habit of tapping that button whenever I put the iPhone down, or away.
