Hi,
Have BigSur 11.2 installed. Trying to upgrade to Ventura.
Able to download but under installation it says: "Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again"
Then tried to install from recovery mode but only get BigSur as choice..
Any ideas how I can fix this?

We'd suggest updating your Mac to the most current release of macOS Big Sur, which is macOS Big Sur 11.7.4. Learn how here: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
Afterwards, you should be able to then upgrade to macOS Ventura by following the steps in this support article: How to upgrade to macOS Ventura - Apple Support

The Current " quoted version installed " on this computer is Big Sur 11.2
That version dates back to January 2021
It is suggested to update to Current version of Big Sur 11.7.4 before making any attempts to upGrade to anything newer.
