Each time this question comes up, it isn’t answered. The folks answering simply give another option to find phone like iCloud.com, or Apple Watch, or find my app. I DONT WANT TO USE THOSE! Verbally or in AirPod, if you say ping my iPhone, an alert shows in the dynamic island area but never plays a sound at all. What is the point of this if it doesn’t do it audibly? How to fix this?

You obviously didn’t read my question and chose your “canned” answer like the rest of the people did. I want to scream if I have to go ping my iPhone, and either my phone hears me and starts audibly dinging OR my AirPods will get my phone to ding. Do you understand this? I know if can go to iCloud.com, I know i can use the find my app, for the love of everything holy, don’t send me another canned answer!
