If you're unable to print from your MacBook Pro, try resetting the printing system to see if that resolves the issue for you. Follow these steps:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

2. Control-click the printer in the Printers list on the right, then choose Reset Printing System.

Note: If no printers appear in the Printers list, you can Control-click the empty list and choose Reset Printing System.

After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners settings is empty.

3. Re-add any printers.
