Any problems with iPod Touch update to 4.0.2?

I was hesitant about updating my 2G Touch to iOS4 because of all the problems others were having. Now that 4.0.2 is out I wanted to know if anyone else with a 2G has downloaded it and if they had any problems with media being deleted or anything like that. I'd hate to download it and my iPod freezes or my songs get deleted. Thanks!

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.4), n/a

Yes, there are major flaws in this new firmware. Certain apps crash within seconds of opening, and I all of a sudden have multiples of random albums on my iPod. I decided to restore it to see if that would fix the problems and now I cannot access my most recent backup file for some reason. It says that an error had occurred. I am basically stuck with a blank iPod for now, because something called "MDcrash report tool" keeps not responding, and my sync takes forever. Bottom line- do not update your iPod touch to 4.0.2 unless you want major problems.

Hi all, when I connected my ipod touch 2nd gen to the PC yesterday it said there's a iOS 4 software update and I downloaded it. Then the ipod synced for a while with itunes and later gave a message that it couldn't connect to itunes and showed erorr:9812. My ipod touch doesn't start anymore. it showed the same message several times after that. Can anybody help please ? Does anyone know what the error 9812 is ?
Thanks.

I upgraded to IOS 4.0.2 and didn't seem to have any problems after the up date. Everything worked fine until I tried to sync my IPOD again. I get this message "Itunes could not back up the IPOD because a session could not be started with the IPOD." I have not idea. Re started my computer, restarted itunes, powered the IPOD off completely. Any one have any suggestions. I knew I should not have up dated it!!!
