I just got my first MacBook Pro and I am having problems finding out how to make the auto scroll work. My neighbor has one just a few months older than mine and his has auto scrolling. The only difference in his Mac and mine is he has the M1 chip and mine has the M2. Am I missing how to get it to work, or does the M2 not have this feature? If it doesn't have auto scroll... one must ask, why would you cut features on an upgrade?
You're welcome. I wasn't aware Adobe Acrobat Reader had an auto-scroll feature. But I see it does. In any case, the feature is app specific and has nothing to do with which Mac you have or version of macOS.
For those that may not know, you enable auto-scrolling in Adobe Acrobat Reader by pressing command-shift-h.
Well, I'm at a loss. What app are you using to read books and articles? You might also ask your friend what to set to auto scroll.
When I am reading books or articles I like to set the scrolling to where it moves the page at a slow speed and your eyes really never move up and down the page. It scrolls while you read. The PC that I just retired had this option, and I used it constantly.
I use MS Word, Logos, and Acrobat reader. Acrobat actually has an auto scroll option in its program that can be turned on, took me awhile to find it, but it's there.
