mirroring silent mode on watch

Hi everyone,

I have an iphone 14 max and a watch 8.

is there a way where I can put my phone on silent and my watch would automatically be silent too?

IOS 18 Silent Mode Shortcut not working on iphone I created a short cut for toggling the silent mode on/off but the action description for "Set/Toggle Silent mode" says its for the apple watch. I don't have an apple watch and am trying to run it for placing my Iphone 14 in/off silent mode and it provides the following message: "this action cannot be run in the current environment." Question: Can a silent mode toggle shortcut be created on IOS18 for the iphone (not apple watch)? Thanks

Thanks for the reply but this is temporary and I just use it to control my watch.

I want it to automatically turn silent when the phone is on silent mode too.
