Dual Monitor support with HP Docking station works on macMini but doesn't on macBook Pro 13'

Hi

I have strange situation. I have HP USB-C docking station with two monitors plugged in.

Two monitors works for HP Laptop with Windows and macMini but this doesn't work for macBook Pro 13'.

I read articles that MST is not supported in macOS. Then why it works on macMini?

The 13" M1 does not support more than one external display regardless of what connector you use.

It will not work regardless of connector. The 13" MacBook Pro does not have an HDMI port anyway.

If they were using more than one external display, and the Mac they showed had an HDMI port, it was a 14" or 16" MacBook Pro which do support 2 or 4 external displays.
