Different apple IDs to watch Apple TV app on Samsung smart tv

i logged in with my Apple ID and have been watching a while on my Samsung smart tv. On a separate Samsung tv, we logged my husband in with his Apple ID and it wants him to subscribe even though we have a trial free subscription from my new phone.

Would we be able to share one subscription each with our own saved shows once we officially subscribe after the free few months I was given or can only one Apple ID be subscribed?

I thought I read you can switch ids at any time and thought we could too even now and have our own saved shows and what episodes we are up to.Thanks

You can log in with multiple Apple IDs to the Apple TV App and switch between them as you require.

Go to Settings (the cog) ➜ Accounts and add another Apple ID. you can then switch between them there at a ny time.

To Share an Apple TV+ subscription you would need to enable Family Sharing and invite the other Apple ID to it.

Then the subscription would be available regardless of which Apple ID is currently active.

click here ➜ Add accounts in the Apple TV app - Apple Support

and here ➜ Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

Whoops, took too long to post. sorry.

Apple ID accounts that are not associated with the subscription will not have access to all of the subscription content.

You would be able to share a subscription with a few other accounts that are grouped into a Family Sharing group. Then each user would have access to the subscription content through their own account (no account sharing needed).

The Family Sharing setup has to be done on the organizer’s own iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac.

The group organizer doesn’t necessarily have to be the same person as the subscriber.
