Signing in

I bought an IMac from an estate and am trying to sign in with my Apple ID.

I can't sign her out because I don't have their password.

I'm looking for a solution to just sign in with my ID. Suggestions?

Is it possible to temporarily change my Apple ID password? I’d like to give someone access to a MacBook that still has my Apple ID on it. In order to do so, he’d need my Apple ID password. I trust this person, so that seems fine, but I’d still rather move to a temporary password to allow him access and once that’s done move back to my old password. Is this possible, or will apple block me from using passwords I’ve used previously? Is there another way of solving this?

Apple ID issue with secondary imac i bought a used imac to have a computer while i was visiting my family in france and it was also going to be used by a family member for a secondary Mac. i set it up using my Apple id. Suddenly she has been locked out and we are having issues with logging in. it asks for log in for the Apple id then asking for computer login then asking for Log in I use on my Mac which is main computer linked to Apple id. It just seems to going round in circles and my sister has in the confusion put the wrong one in a couple of times and now it is saying this. Not sure what to do at this point with our losing all the data apps etc on the Mac

Changing the user/owner of a MacBook Air My wife gave me her MacBook Air (13 inch, Retina display, 2018 - macOS Monterey 12.4) a few years ago. I know her password, however, before I can use auto-filled passwords for websites, etc. I have to input my user password. I tried eliminating her user account. What do I do?

You need to contact that Estate.

They have to make the iMac suitable / clean for sale, so that you can log in without any problems.
