Notes from iCloud

My notes are not showing up on my iPhone even though I turned on sync. How do I get my notes back on my iPhone from iCloud?

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about Notes.

As long as the same Apple ID is used on the iPhone, then just enable the slider for Notes in Settings > [Your name] > iCloud > Notes: Set up iCloud for Notes on all your devices - Apple Support

Then, check on your device you are in the All iCloud Notes folder: Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

I tried again with a better connection to WiFi and it worked!
