I have 2020 MacBook Pro 16”and it’s right side speakers are crackling

MacBook pro 14 m1 2021 speaker crackling I purchased MacBook Pro 14 m1 thinking about reputation of apple. With in 6 months the speaker crackling sound came up and it’s so much disappointing. I visited Apple Store and got the speaker replaced without any cost and they suggested me to buy the extended warranty which I didn’t because of the trust I have that apple won’t disappoint for at least 5 years. But the speaker crackling sound again came up after another 6 months of repair. Is it intentional? Or is it the bad quality and flaw full hardware of MacBook. In forum I can see a lot of discussions and complaints regarding the same which apple doesn’t care. I have the Ventura os 13.0 which is latest till 2023. I can’t replace the speaker again and again and that to they will charge for it. It’s really disappointing and I lost the trust on apple. @apple

What will be the estimate price to replace both speakers on my MacBook Air M1? I am using MacBook Air m1 My warranty period is just got expired. I am hearing a small buzz or a crackling and distorted sound from the speakers while playing the music, I don’t why. If u need to replace both speakers what may be the estimate price. Crackling noise from right speaker on MacBook Pro after macOS 15.4.1 update Hello, multiple responses might help to identify the issue. Recently, after running a software update (macOS Sequoia 15.4.1), the Right speaker in my MacBook Pro 13' M1 2021 started making a crackling noise while playing sound. In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Outside the USA

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

You can try the Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.
