alright so I got a gift card for my birthday and I wanna get gems on clash of clans. I know how to add it to my funds I’m just not sure if it will make me ask permission from my parents or not. If I buy it in the app will it auto take from my gift card balance and most importantly will it make me ask for permission?

Yes, and yes. It should automatically use the gift card balance in your account if supported by the app, and yes, it will request permission like any other purchase, it just won't charge it to your parent's payment method.
