Can I continue to use my PASSWORDS in iOS16?

I want to upgrade to iOS 16 but I'm not ready to use passkeys. I want to continue to use passWORDS as usual. Will this be possible?

Yes, you will be able to use your current Passwords with iOS 16.

FYI, IMO the internet is still a long way away from when passkeys will be considered even “semi-routine.”

There’s a lot of inertia to be overcome to move away from the username/password construct.
