My MacBook Air has Touch ID. It wasn't working when I was logging in, so tried to add another finger, as I do use my fingers to test my blood sugar, and I deleted the first one accidentally. Now it won't let me add any as my fingers take too long to register on Touch ID. Any ideas?

We understand you're having some trouble enrolling your finger with Touch ID. We have some steps to try and get this working posted below.
To make sure you're not seeing any software issues interfering with enrollment, let's try starting to safe mode and see if you can enroll a finger there:
Start up your Mac in safe mode
Tell us if that gets your finger enrolled.
