Mail slow to load message content

Why does Mail take several minutes to load message content both in new emails and in emails already in the Inbox? It often takes several minutes. The header with the sender, subject, and recipient will display but the message area stays blank for several minutes, or will initially show the content but immediately go blank for several minutes before reappearing.

The community support system requires that I choose a topic, but Mail is not listed anywhere, so I chose OS Monterey but this problem has occurred with previous operating system versions. What it isn't shown is another question.

Thanks for the link to the Ventura discussion. I'm pretty sure this was happening prior to Monterey, but that doesn't help, I suppose. My email content eventually appears, but it sometimes takes many minutes. As one of the commenters indicated, it's nice to know it's not just me.

Another mystery perhaps you could comment on is why Mail does not show up anywhere in support.apple.com or discussions.apple.com. I may have missed it, but I've looked a number of times and can't find it on the site map at Site Map - Apple Community. It's as if Apple has given up on it and doesn't want us to ask about it.

Sorry, wasn’t saying the Mail issue doesn’t show up. I meant that the Mail app is not listed among the many possible topics to seek support on and is not among the available choices for the topic that one is required to assign to a post in the community forum.
