How to fix when Apple News message says not connected to internet & am subscriber and everything else works

You may not have Apple News set to user cellular data. Go to Settings>News>Cellular Data and make sure it's turned on.
Well, based on the screen shot above, you are only connected to cellular data. If News isn't set to use celluar data, that's exactly the screen you would see. Did you check?
Actually I was able to get ANews using data but not using Wi-Fi. Got Wi-Fi corrected and now got News working in both modes. Appreciate your help & time to assist. 👍
Whether or not you have an Apple News subscription has nothing to do with whether or not your phone can connect to the internet.
What is the exact error message you're getting? A screen shot of the message is best.
Modem works fine.
Thanks for trying to help. I think my problem is w Xfinity internet so I’m going to go to their support for solutions.

Am connected and All other apps r working on phone. Went to settings, iCloud, turned off and on Apple News app, turned off phone & back on, have family sharing, even get emails w News story updates but hitting link also gets the message.
