With the new MBP 16 M2 Max, what happens if both the Magsafe power adapter & an external thunderbolt with power delivery will be connected at the same time?
Is it harmless?
I would like to use the original 140W Power adapter but also need to connect my thunderbolt dock which also deliver power.

Your Mac only uses power for charging when it needs to and stops charging when satisfied. No damage will result.
Apple says the BEST source will be selected.
Users sometimes report the FIRST source will be selected.

I think it's not harm anything, though if you concern about it, disconnect the MagSafe adapter from MacBook Pro.
