Where is the Mac download for iTunes? Kind of strange that it is no where to be found.

Looking to reset an iPad and for some strange reason, even after changing my Apple ID password, the iPad keeps saying it is incorrect. Frustrating to say the least. So the Apple community forum suggested that I reset using my MacBook. I don't have iTunes installed so am now looking for it and there seems to be no links to download iTunes for Mac on Apple.com just Microsoft versions. What is going on? I have never been so frustrated!
