Please can someone help and advise me how to move/share a music track from iTunes on my old macbook

Annabel,

If you have a flash drive handy, copy the song file from the old Mac to the flash drive. Then copy it from the flash drive to the new Mac. Once it is on the new Mac, add it to your Music library per this guide:
