Head Tracking

Some related questions :

  1. Is there any way for a user to independently pause Head Tracking in iPadOS ? Currently the only option seems to be to go into the Scanning Menu as switch it off there and then reenable?
  2. Are there any plans to move the Head Tracking out of Switch Control and into Mouse/Pointer options ? I know power users like Christopher Hills like and need it to be in Switch Control and am not saying to remove it from there- rather just put it where it functionally should be...head control is a mouse option.
  3. Assisitive Touch and Switch Control are mutually exclusive by default - would it be possible to have both - some people might like head tracking for some of the time, and touch for others?

Hello

On your first point.

You can do this with a shortcut. Create a shortcut in the shortcuts app to toggle switch control on or off. Add this as an icon on your screen. You can turn head tracking off by clicking the icon, or using Siri, but you will not be able to turn it back on using head tracking. To turn on you will have to use Siri. Just say "Hey Siri" and the name of your shortcut, or "Hey Siri, Turn on Switch control"

Hope that helps. Screenshot of shortcut below.
