Lately I have been receiving text messages with the term IMG where the attachment for a picture or video isn’t seen nor can be opened up. What can I do to be able to have access to them? Is it in my settings?

Is this only occurring with MMS/SMS messages, which are green, or is it also occurring with iMessages, which are blue? If this is only occurring with MMS/SMS messages, please check to ensure MMS messaging is enabled under Settings > Messages. If this feature is enabled, and you're still not receiving those photos, we would suggest contacting your wireless carrier to investigate further.
If this is occurring with iMessages as well, please reply back and let us know which iOS version is installed on your device.
