Sleep Focus Always On Display

I understand that the Always On Display turns off in Sleep mode. I don't want it to! I want the focus, but I want to use my phone as a night stand clock. Is there an option I'm missing?

By design your can't enable Always on display and sleep focus

Use Always-On display with your iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max - Apple Support
