Sleep Focus Not Working

I’m sooo so so mad right now. I have insomnia it's really difficult for me to sleep , and that’s why I always set my iPhone to sleep focus . Please explain to me how was it that a WhatsApp call got through at 7am today. THE ONLY THING, THE ONLY PURPOSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO FULFILL FAILED. I don’t care advanced features and other foolish stuff I just want simple features to work, and a “silence mode” shouldn’t be hard to achieve.I’m furious. Can someone please explain why do WhatsApp calls go through the sleep focus mode. I don’t want to have to use airplane mode before I go to sleep because we’re not in the 2000s anymore. Thank you apple.

Go to Settings>Focus>Sleep Focus. Tap Apps. Make sure it's set to "Allow Notifications From". Make sure that WhatsApp is not listed. Make sure "Time Sensitive Notifications" is turned off. Then, go back and tap on "People". Make sure that "Allow Calls From" is set to "Allowed People Only". Make sure that "Allow Repeated Calls" is turned off.

Or, use the mute switch on the side of the phone.
