Watch os 9.4 assistive touch bug for apple pay

Same here. The hand gesture apple pay on my apple watch was a fantastic feature. Until this issue started after the recent OS update. Hope Apple is aware and looking into it.

Crown scrolling not working properly as well, frequently not responsive. Now even double tap gesture not working.

for me it's not even working without assistive touch ... it just does not get into the mode, where it says "present watch to card reader"

Apple, please let us know when this bug is squashed!!! This is a very important feature of the Apple Watch that now doesn’t work!

I have experienced the same issue. I have been using this assistive touch function for all my payments and train. After updated to 9.4, it no longer works. Tried all resets and repairing. All fails!

It’s not possible for me to add a bank card because the passcode of the Apple Watch cannot be set🤔

great to hear. But can’t seems to see any os update available to 9.5

Recently got my AWSE replaced due to crown issue (noticed after update to watchos9.4) & currently running on watch os 9.2 & everything is great again :)
