Touch ID Stopped working for banking app after upgrading phone from 6S to SE 3

I used touch ID for all my apps on my iPhone 6s with IOS 15.7.3

I upgraded my phone to an iPhone SE 3rd generation IOS 16.2

All my apps still work fine with touch ID, except my PNC Mobile Banking app. I called them and they were no help.

I saw some OLD posts talking about this issue and it being an Apple glitch, but I haven't seen a fix. My banking app doesn't even show Touch ID anymore in it's settings, but does show Face ID. My phone still has the Home button and doesn't have Face ID.

I've re-installed the app and turned touch ID off and on, on the phone to no avail. I saw where some used their fingerprint on the home button even without the pop-up and it worked. Not for me.

Anyone else have this issues with iPhone SE 3 with IOS 16.2?

If you're having trouble with a third-party app not working with Touch ID, you'll need to reach out to the app developer directly. As the developer, they will be best suited to look in to that and see what options you have.
