How many esims can I have on my iphone 12 mini?

I have an esim for my main mobile service based in Germany, and a physical sim card for when I’m in Serbia.

I also have a data-only sim card for when I’m in Serbia, because it’s much cheaper than paying for data on the prepaid sim card that I use.

In my settings, it shows my sim card, and my esim card, but it also has a place asking if I want to add an esim card.

So I’m just wondering: can I enter my Serbian data card as an esim card?

This would be helpful because as of now, I need to take out the phone/text-ready card out when I want to do more internet-heavy computer work, and so I may miss a potentially important local phone call.
