Hi braintrust, I can't open the scanner, Epson Perfection V700 Photo on my desktop Mac Os Big Sur 11.7.2 - Any suggestions dearly appreciated

I'm having trouble opening my scanner, an Epson Perfection V700 Photo using MacOs Big Sur 11.7.2. I can't find drivers on either Epson or Apple sites - they each direct you to the other! I have a suspicion the drivers I'd installed previously were cancelled when I updated my Mac to Big Sur. Any suggestions?

Unlike the V600, VueScan Professional (and probably Apple's Image Capture) supports the V700 without any Epson drivers. Mentioned this in case one day, Epson does a dirt nap on supporting your scanner.

Easy! Just used the Epson software updater found in the Epson application folder. Duh.
