I would like to disable my keyboard without installing extra things onto my MacBook pro.
The keyboard is broken, half of the keys don't work. I've had it cleaned. It is long out of warranty. I can't replace the MacBook for at least a year.
I have an external keyboard to use, but my setup makes it easiest to place it on top of my mac keyboard which then often presses some of the keys that work.
I do appreciate the response. Unfortunately that didn’t work for me
it’s obnoxious that I can completely disable the trackpad but not the Keyboard.

Which keys exactly are broken on the internal one?

Well, I had to check and some of those are what aren’t working, but that wasn’t the fix :)
